Main: Animals We Treat
Our Mission :  To offer the best in modern veterinary care to Central Texas pets and their families.

Informed pet owners provide much better care for, and improve the lives of, animals they love and enjoy.  Correct medical attention, proper diets, and good husbandry suggested by caring veterinarians will often lengthen the lives of pets substantially and add quality to their lives.

Animals We Treat

Some are pictured below, but there are even more.  Imagine birds of all kinds; snakes; turtles; iguanas; reptiles, big and small; rabbits, hamsters; guinea pigs; and you still wouldn't have named them all.

Animals We Do Not Treat

And, an animal we don't treat, at least, not yet!  There are others, too, such as lions, tigers, venomous snakes and monkeys, animals that are beautiful, but we don't treat them or one reason or another. In the case of lions, tigers and venomous snakes, I consider them too dangerous and do not want to risk the people who work with me. Monkeys, animals I have enjoyed working with in the past, potentially carry viruses that can be transmitted to humans, so I decided not to treat or handle them anymore, too.  Prarie dogs also carry fleas that can carry bubonic plague, a disease that is contagious to people.

Kangaroos, of course, don't live here, and we don't treat zoo animals at this time, so, thus far, we haven't seen any as pets, but you never know!
